AppleTV Update with Control4

Recently Apple has released a new operating system for Apple TVs, tvOS 13. For those of you who have Apple TV(s) being controlled by your Control4 system, updating your Apple TV to this new software version will result in Control4 no longer being able to control the Apple TV. Control4 has released a new driver that fixes this issue, and that driver will need to be added to your project in order to regain control of the updated Apple TV.

What do you need to do?
1. Unless you update your Apple TV there will be no effect on the functionality of your system.
2. Schedule a service call for us to come update your Apple TV and add the new driver. We will be using the new driver for all new system installs, and will also address this in any system we are on-site performing any other service.
